Today’s letter is P, for Paul Tremblay.
This story is in “Echoes: The Saga Anthology Of Ghost Stories” edited by Ellen Datlow.
The first story is Haunted House Tour: 1 Per Person by Paul Tremblay

This short story is written in the POV of Paul, the author. He is alone in his house as his wife and daughter are away, but returning tomorrow morning. Paul goes though an old box of his belongings and comes across a drawing he stole from his friend Kelly, when he visited her house for her Haunted House Tour. He has his flashback. It was all rigged. Kelly showed him her drawing of a “ghost” which she said she was afraid of. Before leaving Kelly’s house, he stole her drawing because he was dissatisfied with her fake tour. Suddenly, Paul hears noises coming his upstairs, even as he knows he’s all alone in his house. He decides to go up to investigate. He’s not a child and no longer afraid.
