This post is entered into #AtoZChallenge2026 April blogging, as its topic centers on B for Balle, Solvej. Balle is the surname. As mentioned in my #atozChallengeThemeReveal post, my main theme is book reviews and its subsidiary is miscellaneous topics. I’ll add that comprises of haiku and art.
3 Reasons To Read This Book:
Number 1) If you’re interested in time travel fiction and theories of time travel.
Number 2) If you think your life is a continuous cycle of repetitions.
Number 3) If you have read Solvej Balle’s earlier works and you’re a devoted fan of hers.
My Rating for This Book:
Fair.
My Recommendation For This Book:
Give it a miss. The author weaves seamlessly in and out of timelines during the narration.
The time-line for the narration is not linear. Sometimes, there are flashbacks and then the reader is equally unceremoniously returned to the prevailing timeline’s narration.
No two persons can have the same opinion. I wasn’t fond of this book, but another family member loved it. She insisted on following the series and has purchased Volume II and Volume III.
