This post is entered into #AtoZChallenge2026 April blogging, as its topic centers on F for Freud, Sigmund. Freud is the surname. As mentioned in my #atozChallengeThemeReveal post, my main theme is book reviews and its subsidiary is miscellaneous topics. I’ll add that comprises of haiku and art.

Yes, I think Freud’s Interpretation of Dreams is credible and logical
His book contains scientific explanations for
- the causes of dreams,
- how dreams are related to waking life,
- how memories are re-used, reinvented in dreams
- how dreams are affected by mental states
- what are the common types of dreams and etc.

Freud’s book is not a dictionary with meanings of topics in dreams. If you want to search for specific imagery, use keywords to search in a dream dictionary. Try this website: https://artmater.com
It has a searchbox where you can type in your keyword like dream A or dream B and a list of page links will pop up. Eg. https://artmater.com/?s=dream+interpretation
