Mrs Dalloway fell in love with a woman named Sally Seton. (Woolf, p. 28) However, this was a short infatuation and didn’t last. Sally also got married to a rich man with a title. (Woolf, p. 167) He had a bald head. He lives in Manchester and owns mills. After their marriage, Sally gained a title; she became Lady Rosseter. Sally bore him five sons. The first time Sally and Mrs Dalloway were reunited was at the latter’s party, in her home in Westminister.
