Number 2) If you think your life is a continuous cycle of repetitions.
Number 3) If you have read Solvej Balle’s earlier works and you’re a devoted fan of hers.

Give it a miss. The author weaves seamlessly in and out of timelines during the narration.
The time-line for the narration is not linear. Sometimes, there are flashbacks and then the reader is equally unceremoniously returned to the prevailing timeline’s narration.
No two persons can have the same opinion. I wasn’t fond of this book, but another family member loved it. She insisted on following the series and has purchased Volume II and Volume III.
