The elephant surgeon is operating a surgery on its fellow elephant patient. This collage of mixed media is on a large piece of A4 size paper.

Margaret Atwood’s sister-in-law, Lenore Mendelson, is a ceramics artist. One of her artworks, about an elephant having a surgery by another elephant, was commissioned by a customer. I’m showing invented pictures of the artwork. The point is to say elephants can be somebody’s favorite animal.
