This watercolors series Challenge is #100tinytreasures, running from Mar 20 2026 to Mar 20 2027 and I’m showing the before painting and after painting

The participating artist uses tiny art papers to paint any topic/ theme of their choice. We have the freedom to use any small sizes of measurements, or even bigger papers if we choose to.

My card papers are roughly 3 inch by 2 inch.

I choose portraits of authors for my series of #100tinytreasures. However, I may change my topic if I run out of authors to draw for the books I’ve read.

This Challenge starts from Mar 20, 2026 and runs all the way to Mar 20, 2027. That works out to be 100 paintings divided by 52, which is roughly 2 tiny treasures paintings per week.

I made a mistake by omitting to type in the date headings week by week. This week, I have another set of 6 pieces of tiny treasures. They compose a bigger picture. I forgot to take a photo of the Before painting shot. I have a pic Before I cut it into a simple jigsaw puzzle.

Calendar to keep track of the schedule for #100tinytreasures

Week 1 of 52 weeks, ending on Mar 20, 2027. Started on Mar 20 2026.

Week 4 of 52 weeks, until Mar 20 2027. Week 4 is Monday Apr 6 2026. I’m supposed to have 8 painted tiny treasures. 6 are painted.

Week 5 starts on Monday, April 13, 2026. The official count should be 10 painted tiny treasures. I have drawn 6 tiny pictures. Now I have to paint 8 tiny pictures.

Week 6 Mon. April 20. Still the same as above.

Week 7 Mon. Apr 27. I painted 3 new #tinytreasures. By now I have 14 unpainted pics and have 11 painted pics. I should have 14 painted pics. I’m short of 3 paintings. I have excess of 14 drawn but unpainted art. I can catch up, by just painting more.

I drew 3 more, based on fan art for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Now, I have 17 unpainted and 14 painted. According to the schedule, by this week 7, I should have finished 14 paintings. (I’m short of 3 paintings)

I painted the 3 women’s drawings too.

I’m adding 6 #tinytreasures of a bear holding his smaller mascot soft toy bear. Now I have 23 small paintings, and 17 unpainted.

Week 8 May 4 2026. I have partially painted the series of 8 tiny food watercolors. Their backgrounds are blank; unpainted. I drew 5 more pictures. The count is now 23 small paintings and 22 drawn but unpainted pictures.

Week 9 starts on Monday May 11 2026.

I drew 5 pencil drafts. The count is 27 unpainted pictures and 23 small painted pics.

Week 10 starts on Monday, May 18.

Week 11 starts on Monday, May 25. I have 26 painted watercolors. I’m 4 paintings ahead of schedule.

Week 14 starts on Week of June 15. I have 42 paintings. That’s almost half of the series of #100tinytreasures.
