Frankenstein goes to Chicago, to ask an inventive scientist, Dr Euphronius, to create a female Frankenstein for him. One of their first concerns is how to get a body for Miss Frankenstein? Short of stealing one from the morgue, they decide to use a murdered body.

Christian Bale is this movie’s star protagonist, Frankenstein. His fortunate girlfriend and bride, is acted by Jessie Buckley.

The director is Maggie Gyllenhaal, an actress whose brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, also stars here. Other cast include Penelope Cruz and Peter Saarsgard.
